New home, strange place
Katie is a 13 year old who was in a bad situation and we are blessed to have her in our home and happy that we have become her guardians. We hope that we will be able to give her the love and attention that she so desperately needs at this point in her life. Our little Cora is such a blessing to us as well, and she adores her new big sister.
I know that times are hard for everyone, and I hate to ask...however, we could really use some help in getting the things that Katie needs. She came to us with the clothes on her back and 1 other change, and a pair of broken glasses. At this point she is wearing my mother-in-laws clothes (not very good for the self esteem of a 13 year old girl, I am sure).
We are strapped and cannot purchase her the things she needs as far as clothing and school supplies goes. So if anyone can help Katie it would be greatly appreciated!
